LiFePO4 batteries are designed to be maintenance-free throughout their service life. However, following proper installation and usage guidelines will maximize performance and longevity:

  • Install in a well-ventilated area away from extreme heat sources
  • Use appropriate charging equipment with LiFePO4 charging profiles
  • Avoid deep discharges below 20% state of charge when possible
  • For long-term storage, maintain at 40-60% state of charge
  • Periodically inspect connections for corrosion or looseness
  • Follow all safety guidelines in the user manual
